I've finally taken the time to put together some photographs taken in and around the harbour in St Ives back in May. As always we had wildly mixed weather to keep things interesting, clear skies being shortly followed by raging storms. I got absolutely drenched taking one of the photos below, no prizes for guessing which! Fortunately my camera didn't suffer any ill effects from the impromptu salt water bath.
I love going down there out of season when it's relatively quiet. The last photo sums it up for me - a peaceful town at the tip of the country, sticking out into the ocean. The perfect break from home in London!
